I though photos would look exactly the same. How much better can a photo really look on a higher res display? A TON better, as it turns out. The retina MacBook Pro is extraordinarily good. Regardless, the weight, the display, and the processing power are enough to convince me that this is my current choice of computer.

For the next month, at least. The retina display is amazing, but it also makes non-retina apps look relatively terrible.
