Walmart is so stupid, all other stores have started accepting return with or without reciept 2 months ago in Canada, and they are still making excuse of covid and not letting people return without reciept which is so mean.
Used to love Walmart and shopped there all the time prescriptions and all now I won't step into that place or order online at all EVER again Now I love Target and I will stay with them! Same thing, went in with my granddaughter to get her summer clothes for something and they said we couldn't use the dressing rooms to just buy them, take them home to try on and bring back what we didn't want. But when we brought back all that didn't fit they said we couldn't return?!!!
The lady just the day before told me to do this Plus absolutely NO signs letting you know this. AND here's the real kicker How is that even possible??!!! Who are the incompetent idiots at walmart corp. I have been shopping at Walmart in Suwanee , Ga. Usually I'm happy. NOT today. I purchased several Your cashier put 2 bottles of the waters in the same bag one of the bottles of Asti.
It broke open and splattered all my asti over my driveway. I came back to the store an hr later with the broken glass and torn bag. Your cashier and supervisor refused to replace the asti I was listening to a pastor on the radio several yrs ago maybe 3. He told his experience that year at corp walmart.
He said when the salespersons go to arkansas to present what they have to sell it use to be WM furnised a very nice meal then we presented our wares to the WM buyers. He said " Dont develope a poverty mind set that WM has". As much money as Walmart is making and wouldn't take back my shorts or comNtact solution that was sihipped wrong to me.
Unfair to us. I going to shop at target or dollar general. Not letting people return clothes is just ridiculous! All the other stores are letting people return clothes. We need to boycott Walmart, I am really mad at them! They have lost my business. All the other clothing stores such as jcp kohls Belk hamrick tj Maxx and Marshalls what is up with you are trying to force people to keep items that Don't fit , people will shop elsewhere, Know you are a wealth company and probably don't care, it will eventually hurt your business heard a lot of complaints about long waiting keeping a lot of people away because of covid,.
You can search receipt yourself. They won't let you try them on so I bought 2 not knowing I couldn't return them. This is rediculus. The sighn is so tiny at the door you need a microscope to see it. I bought cloths in march and still can't return them! Makes no sense,I haven't had an issue returning cloths any where else. When will Walmart allow return of clothes. This is so unfair. I was never told nor was it posted at checkout that clothes could not be returned in NJ.
All other retailers are accepting returns on clothes. My clothes purchases were in the store so ineligible for online return Can someone at Walmart please tell me how I can return these items. I am on a fixed budget and need this money for food and living expenses. I am not happy with Walmart, still return section is closed, just Walmart is not returning the clothes that has tag I have some clothes to return, when this section will be open. If you are not returning the clothes why you are selling them.
I decided not to buy any clothes from Walmart from now on. Bought clothes that they wouldn't let me try on. Got home and they didn't fit. Tags still on and they wouldn't let me return them. This was 2 months ago!!! They still won't let me return them today August 1st. Do not under any circumstances buy clothing at Walmart.
They will not allow you to try it on, and then will not take the clothes back. That is called a scam to get rid of the clothes at Walmart that they could not sell. They have reached a new low. Now it's July 30th, and WalMart is still "pausing" returning clothing to any of their stores. I'm so furious!!! Why are they doing this. Other stores, Target, Kohls, JC Penney, Avenue, Ross all take clothes back and quarantine them in a separate area for days, and if tags are attached they are put back on the racks.
I have clothes to return but I really don't think they are going to give my money back. The virus is not going away. As of June 15, we've resumed our normal return policy in most states. Any items that were temporarily not permitted for return and were purchased between April 20 and June 15 can now be returned though Sept.
Items from those categories purchased before April 20 will have the normal return window of 90 days applied. Items temporarily not permitted for return and purchased between April 20 and June 29 in the following states can be returned by Sept.
Returns and exchanges will continue to be temporarily paused on certain items in Arkansas, California, Illinois and South Carolina. We're also following all applicable local ordinances that prevent returns of certain items such as those in New Jersey and Minnesota. If you need to return any item, including those above, and have a receipt, please start your return on the Walmart app or at walmart.
It's easy and may allow you to complete your return without coming to the store. If you're not able to return the item online, don't worry! Once returns re-open for impacted categories, we will be extending the return period by six weeks for those items.
Never had an issue with returning clothes in the Walmarts in Phoenix, AZ. Can't try them on but if they do not fit, they will give you a refund or let you exchange. Az is one of the hotspots for Covid in the country and yet we get to take back clothing. Go figure. Lady was rude and condescending I find it odd considering every other short allows returns I took three bras back to exchange for a larger size.
My mom was large than their large. It was apparent the bras had not been worn. The service clerk told me that could get cash or store card. Were does it say where Walmart keeps a third of the return total? Walmart is not following its own policies for returns. I've had to call corporate on this issue 3 times now. Twice on the same walmart in the last 6 months. The store in appleton, WI has been very complicated and will not follow their own policy. Nor will they look up the item for you to furnish the receipt.
This is ridiculous! We were told the quarantine is not an excuse for the items not being returned. I am told that I have go have the original reciept. Who keeps the original for months during quarantine when you know it can be misplaced or thrown out? But the other item is a coffee maker which was purchased around Mothers day and receipt was lost so I was ok with an instore credit for the that was paid. I also asked if they could look up the receipt and told no no no. There is not one single reason for the stubbornness.
While many of us spend thousands a month there how is it that two walmart stores are being this stubborn? I spoke to Depere WI walmart store manager after calling corporate and he said he will approve the returns but why do I have to go to these lengths when their policy is in plain writing. False advertising? I would say so I am just getting tired of walmart all tigefher and do not plan to go there if this type of treatment persists.
I suggest walmart start following its own policy or they will lose many customers. I searched everywhere for a warning sign that walmart will not take back returns on clothing and there were none. Why can't clothes be returned?
Other stores allow returns; they hold for 72 hours before putting back on racks. Some allow you to try on. This is absurd. Idk yet i bought unrefined certified organic coconut oil in march from walmard expiration date I shop at Walmart a lot. I went because I was down to 6 days remaining of this recipes 90 day return period. I was darn surprised when the person behind the customer service desk said they were not taking returns for apparel or any over-the-counter type item but would be again at some point and not to worry because the return period would be extended.
I said I was at the end of my return period and she said I would be able to return it because they were going to extend the 90 day period to another 90 days after they started taking them again. Do you think I doubted that I would be able to return them in an extended period? Heck, yes I did.
So it seems Walmart changed their return policy without providing proper notice to the consuming public, failing to disclose this new policy adequately as well as breached their sales contract with us, since there was no signage or announcement, we purchased our newly non-returnable items believing that they were indeed returnable. In effect allowing us to believe the items had qualities they did not have.
So now here it is July Today I looked into whether Walmart had begun to accept the restricted items and yes, they had. Oh, well back on June Guess I lost a month of my new 90 day return period. But wait. Go to their website so you can understand what is what. I copied this directly from corporate. Except of that 90 days, 56 days fall into the period of time that they were not taking returns on these items. Thats not extending the return period!! Just wait patiently for the time to come when they will take these back?
Good thing I didn't hold my breath. Whoever decided how this was to be extended doesn't get it what was implied and expressed in the spoken word by Walmart employees and what was posted on the website when the change was implemented. Walmart has been quoted on numerous occasions referring to starting your return online then laying out the new extension of time. Can't say I didn't know this would happen.
Can't say you didn't know this would happen. I'll just mention here that there has been a Class Action suit filed against Walmart in California. You know sometimes I get tired of my business being taken for granted and screwed out of my money. I'll bet you feel the same! On April 28th, at the Bloomingdale, Illinois Walmart, my teenage daughter wanted to try on clothes but we were told the Fitting Room was closed.
The woman in that Dept said we could buy it, try it on at home, and return it. That was a Lie. To this day, July 19th, Im still waiting to be able to return 2 lousey pieces of clothes. I hope it was worth all the hundreds you lost from me as a Customer.
I've been trying to return a car seat I bought at Walmart since the end of May. The Walmart I purchased from shut down their customer service department because, because they informed me, all the registers were destroyed during the looting.
I took it to another local Walmart who wouldn't accept it, pointing at their barely legible piece of paper on the counter, because it was 'apparel'. What the, Webster's dictionary definition of apparel is something you wear. Last time I looked no one had ever worn a car seat. C'mon Walmart!! You're one of only a couple of stores open for shopping and reaping in the monetary benefits. Something needs to change here.
They'll accept returns when 'Covid' is over??? Yes I'm also annoyed that Wal-Mart in California is still not accepting returns of clothes especially since you can't even try them on in the store. They should have big signs in the clothing sections saying "if you buy clothes you will be stuck with them for months". I now buy my clothes from Target or Costco who take returns. Just store the clothes for 3 days - all COVID particles will be dead by then - then they are safe for resale. I purchased apparel items in April , I can't take them back even with my receipt.
WalMart has yet to lift the "Pause", in the state of California. What is the holdup!! This is making me so upset I think I will never buy from WalMart again. Non apparel items maybe, but not clothes. This is just ridiculous and so unfair of this giant store. I purchased clothes 3 months ago and I have tried to return the clothes niw for 3 months and they tell me they are not taking clothes returns right now!
They should of posted signs stating that there are no returns on clothes, I am stuck with a bunch of clothes that I need to return and nobody has any answers as to when they will finally accept returns for clothes, I called the corporate office which they connected me to a supervisor named Tara and she had no more information then if I would of called my local store, she told me I can try to start my return online and I said I paid cash for my items so how am I going to get my cash payment back if I do a return online and she had No Clue, that's her exact words, she said I have no clue you will just have to follow directions online and it should tell you!
I asked if there was someone higher up I can talk to and she said no, she said nobody knows when the customers will be able to return clothes because they haven't gotten the ok yet, I said then why didn't Wal-Mart post signs 3 months ago that you couldn't return clothes! She didn't have an answer to that either!
I said you didn't even have signs up that you can't use the fitting rooms until I asked an employee that worked there if I can try on the clothes and they said nobody can use the fitting rooms. At this point all I want to do is return my clothes and get my cash refund back and nobody can answer my question when that will be available to do!! I bought a telefone prepaid card and chose the wrong cell phone company. I wanted to return it and get a refund but was told they cannot do that.
I said I believe the clerk at the elctronics dept. A very rude front load manager came and was extremely unacomodating and I told him that I would take this matter up with my attorney, all in a very civil language on my part, the moment I said that he said about the attorney he told me you immediately have to leave my store which I proceeded to do Well I am a lady and I am 76 years old and I do not appreciated being treated like a criminal like this person did. So I am going to take this matter up with my attorney tomorrow.
I bought some clothes, quite a lot, for my child right in March or early April, because I didn't want to drag her in the store during Covid, and their return policy has been great before. Some ended up not fitting and had to return, but every time I try they don't take return on cloths Hello, every other store has,my money is in it and I won't shop from Walmart anymore, and I am not the only one. If that's how they treat customers,I have a filling that our local Walmarts will be closing soon, because of the tremendous number of people in my situation.
It is ridiculouse. It is not a state law, obviously, since every single other store accepts return. By by Walmart, for good. And thanks for the rip off. Boycot Walmart! Go buy your goods at other stores that allow returns and not giving you the run around! No signs ever posted! Bad business and they are getting away with it! Very disappointed! No one seems to care when you ask about it in the store.
Walmart is going down the drain and many people are shopping elsewhere. I used to shop there once a week. You have lost my business for now. Haven't shopped there in 2 months due to your poor policy on returning clothes. I wont be going back and what a shame.
Walmart has always been so good at returning. No signs were ever posted at the time of my purchase and what a shock when I went in trying to return clothing. OPEN the dressing rooms then if you wont let us return clothes!!!! It makes sense. So someone has to clean the dressing rooms. So what! Do it! Use some common sense. I'm done with Walmart and going to other stores that let you return.
Target, Kohls has got my business and has for the past 2 months. They allow returns people. Want to know if there can return back clothes with tags? I went there last May and they say wait till Covid go away? I need to return the clothes back.
Let me know if they allows. Bought a fishing reel on May I used it for three days, then it broke on July 7th. I carried it and the receipt to Walmart for a refund since the reel is no longer available. He said it was after the Walmart warranty period. I pointed out that the policy was 90 days, not 60 days. Then he said that didn't apply to everything. I searched the official Walmart policy, and there is NO mention about fishing reels not being able to be returned upon failure within the 90 day period.
I got a little heated when he started questioning my integrity and reasons for the return. He didn't even know his own store policy. Then he told me not to come back to his store again. Each time I go I am told they are not doing exchanges yet. Can I get some info on this???? I bought a pair of shoes. I didn't try them on because I didn't have any footies.
I tried them on today and they're too big. I was checking to find out what Wal-Mart's return policy was. And they said that my in Illinois where I live they weren't accepting refunds. But I happened to call my local Walmart and they said no they're not accepting refunds or returns at this time. You know it's bad enough you got to wait in lying to get into Walmart but not accepting returns. I can understand some items don't need to be returned but if you're returning something that hasn't been worn and you've got the receipts and the tags they should let you return them..
I had to open the box to see if it was a good enough air conditioner. I need a air conditioner for bigger space. Now it looks like I'm stuck with this smaller one and I'm boiling hot, I am disabled and ill!
I need my apartment cool and I need my money back as I live on disability! This is absolute nonsense! I bought a radio that I found out is not compatible with my car. I bought it on a student loan card. The store said they can only give a refund on the card I purchase the radio on. The problem is that only the school can add money to my card.
So, the store manager offered to put the money on a gift card. Don't want to spend my money there. Called corporate office they said it is at the discretion of the store manager so basically he could give me the money back he is just being a jerk!! Way to go with that customer service!!!!! I contacted Walmart Corp. Because I was told I could bring back clothes if they didnt fit since dressing room was closed. Bought a radio from Walmart.
Now covid and not allowed to return for my refund. But yet a woman ahead of me takes back 3 pieces of clothes which had tags off so you know she tried them on or maybe even wore but she could get her money back. Stupid I'm one not to shop ever again at Walmart.
Bought a pair of cargo shorts today. They were on a hanger marked 36 waist. When I went to take them out of the car I noticed the pants were tagged 32 waist. I tried to exchange them for size an hour after I bought them the receipt has the time on it but I was told I couldn't because I took them home. What a load of crap, God only knows how many people handled those shorts before I bought them. We bug a bike that 26in and we no take receipt but the bike too big for my son.
So we want to walmart for exchange with a 20in bike so he didn't exchange he said bering the receipt. So what do we for the exchange. I ordered swimsuits on Walmart. Can't return appear to the store but I was able to return the swimsuits to Walmart and 3rd party vendors in the mail. This doesn't make any sense to me. And, I live 19 miles from Home Office. You would think we would be able to get some answers but not so.
I have to shop everthing was closed but walmart so i bought ftom there and bought i have 2 bags full of stuff that's not my style, too small gained during quarintine or didnt know what i was thinking now i see on its websiteu will only be able to take back from 6 wks i have since April snd dont know when they will be accepting clothes for returns so im out all this money and have clothes i don't want!!
I understand what your going threw, am trying to return a hair straightener, and they wont take it back, I need my money. It's now July 4th and in CA we still cannot return our clothes purchases. I bought my jeans 3 Back in April. The fitting rooms were closed to try on anything. After trying on one pair it was obvious that they were way too small! Went to return and was denied even going into the store because I had these jeans Many other states people are allowed to return their items but not CA Bought clothing before the ban April 1.
Tried to return it after the ban started, but obviously could not. Nothing posted anywhere that you cannot return clothing. During the ban, I bought a jumper, but didn't realize it was missing the price tag. The cashier has someone get another one for her so she can scan the tag. I get home and the cashier had put the wrong jumper in my bag!!!
I was trying to purchase a medium and I ended up with an extra small. The ban has been lifted in AZ according to their website so I'll see what happens when I go back today. Not looking forward to this! Walmart should not sell clothing if it can not be returned, and if they do they need to post no returns!!!! It is now July 2! Every other major retailer had enough decency to do what's right. If you are willing to sell the product, it should be returnable!
Don't give us the Covid bs. That's not why you are really doing this. If you feel that bad about it, close up shop. You've taken a good percentage of people's hard earned money now. You are clearly doing this to your benefit. You have no problem taking the money. I'm about to ready to take action on a lawsuit.
There was no sign, alert, notification etc. No information whatsoever on policy change. If so, I wouldn't have bought clothes I couldn't try on. Absolutely preposterous! How long is it suppose to go on like this? There were no signs or information before I purchased the clothing. Couldn't try the clothing on. This all seems like one big scam. Your stores are open and numerous folks are in and out everyday, but you're somehow not taking returns? Absolutely ridiculous! I even here the ban was lifted.
What's the problem? You are taking germ infested money at the damn cash register. Disgusted by all of this. I just want my money back. Clothes don't fit! Walmart is not telling the truth about the New Jersey ban on returning clothing. The ban is lifted and every other retail store is taking clothing back. They are just playing games with their customers.
They were suppose to start clothing returns on June 29, and are refusing. I'm done with shopping In Walmart and am also removing all my prescriptions from the store. I'm in California and they have pause the return since April 20, so till now it over 2 months already. Still hasn't lift yet.
But not California. I tried to fixed many cartridge but non I able to. It goes through ink and no remanufactured ink fits it. I've had it for about 3 months and have already replaced the black ink cartridge. I called the number this morning to see if they lifted the restriction in nj because I have been trying for month now to make return. The customer service rep says oh wow as of today it was lifted. I said can you call the store and verify with them I don't want to go all way there then have problem.
She put me on hold and sure enough they didn't get the memo I called this afternoon my local Walmart where I bought the clothes and asked are you taking returns yet she says no and we don't know when because the governor keeps adding restrictions. What dies he have to do with it.? My thing is what is the difference if it's today or next week if my clothes are infected which there not how are they gonna be able able to tell..
I need my money back and this is ludacrus. I ordered clothes from Macy's online and they didn't fit but I was able to return immediately. What's the difference??? It's so obvious that it is in place to keep their sales up, their labor down, and rip off their loyal customers of their hard earned money!!! I can't be the only one that wonders I went to return clothing because I couldn't try it on on the store.
Told me i could return it after July Is this true? I don't want to lose my money. I think it has been long enough for no returns or refunds maybe you guys sitting in the office making the calls should think twice maybe you people think most people will just give up and waste the money they don't have.
I would be more than HAPPY to buy his boots elsewhere but he had worn these for years and doesn't and can't wear all boots and we found these. I have a pair of pants that I have had for 3 months I can't return!!! The more expensive stores have been refunding and exchanging for some time!!! Oh yeah I bought 4 tires with lifetime rotation and balance and that's a joke every time I try to get it done same story 2 to 3 hour wait.
So now I pay to have that done!!!! The next day I tried to return it due to wrong size but was tilt YOU do not accept the return due to Covid. All other retailers in Massachusetts are taking returns; why are you discriminating against our state while you allow returns in Texas and other states that have rising Covid cases?
To top it all off, you require customers to start the return online and bring the electronic return to the store where they do not accept the clothes. I want my money back and your policy updated before I go to the media or the proper government agency to report your scam. I try stuff on right in the aisle. If they don't want to see this open the fitting room. Think of all the stuff people touch and put back down, only for the next person to do the same.
Time to get over it. If you are that concerned about Covid, stay home with the doors bolted. I too tried to return clothing that I purchased during May. They refused to accept because of Covid. BS, they knew there was Covid when they sold the items. They are just taking no interest loans from every customer they can. Dump this Trump supporting business and put it in bankrupcy. They sent me back home and gave me a number that didnt work, after that 2 other numbers didn't work, then I tried to return it online but since the vendor doesn't take stuff back you cannot click the link.
Pure ripoff and will never buy from them again. Didn't know that they shuffled vendors open box but they don't tell you no returns when you order No wonder they are losing to Amazon. Amazon aims to please and Walmart just about tells you to shove it. I purchased a clothing item on April 14th which when I got home didn't fit. I just went in to return it on June 21st and was told that they were not accepting any clothing returns on anything purchased before April 20th.
I've been patiently waiting to return this item and now, without any notifications, Walmart has decided to randomly pick a cutoff date? I'm still within their normal 90 day return policy so what gives!! Customer Service at the store just shrugged their shoulders and said this is the corporate policy. I contacted Corporate and they said they would reach out to my store. Waiting to hear from them. I bought a blood glucose monitor and the other items that have to go with it in order for me to check my blood glucose.
So the monitor does not work. So i went to Walmart to return the monitor and the lady at customer service told me that i could not exchange it or get my money back because of the covid 19 and i truly understand that. So i called the manager to see how could i exchange or get my money back and she told me to go to their website.
So i did and you have to go through so much red tape to go through to get your money back. So i have gotten aggravated and i am not going through all of that to get my refund back. Its wrong of them to put the customer through all that stuff. So i didn't get my money back also. Plus i had to buy another blood glucose monitor and stuff that i have to have to go with that. I lost my money on that.
I spend too much money with them to have to go through this scenario. I guess i have to bite the bullet on this one. I am disappointed with Walmart. I'm just wondering when I can return a battery operated can opener?? Bought it two months ago not because I wanted it but because it was the only one out of all can openers available I bought batteries went home spending 25 bucks on all it then the darn thing didn't work..
I couldn't believe it.. Just saying tired of looking at it I have 2 sealed non perishable items that I need to return because of the sugar content. I was refused a return at the store and I was told I could return online but that method of return is invisible to me I am stuck with food that im not allowed to eat. With no job I cant buy anymore until I return this. I have the receipt. What's the difference? Clothes were handled from manufacturer to the shelf.
Let em sit in the back room at Walmart and give me "MY" money back. No refunds on clothes? Nobody told me before I purchased. Thinking about a class action be lawsuit. Any body else with me? It's my money and I want it now I love Walmart! Just walking in when the fresh air hits my face I'm exhilarated and my pocketbook begins to smoke. You know why? Because I'm about to spend Mom money, mom moment! I buy a lot of things, small or big, whatever I think the kids and husband need.
And I buy myself a lot of stuff too. Small and big things. A lot of times I feel great, until I get to the register. When the bill racks up, I pull out my credit card and they always run it. Sometimes I don't have enough money, but that's ok, I've got a ton of stuff at home I'm going to return because I didn't need to buy it in the first place.
The customer service rep, she hates me. I see it in her eyes. I once came in with newly dyed red hair and she asked if I copied her. The next day she was brunette. But we talk, about the weather, her boys, my boys. Mom moments! I love leaving Walmart, except when it rains and I wore flip flops. But don't worry, I bought socks and shoes, so I'm sitting down and changing my shoes.
They tell me it's closed, again. But they're always helpful with returns, most of the time. I purchased a car radio and found another one I liked better so I took the one back to get a refund since the box hasn't even been opened and had the receipt and was told that they refused the return but the computer wouldn't explain why it couldn't be returned.
Walmart's no return on clothing is despicable. There was nothing posted anywhere in the clothing dept. I tried to return a couple pieces of clothing the next day, with receipt, with tags still attached and was directed to a sign posted in the checkout lane in a 4 pt font that was not legible.
The cashier said nothing to me at point of purchase. All other retail clothing stores are accepting returns. This is a money grab by a large corp. My child bought herself a phone case but she bought the wrong size some went back 5 mins later told us no exchange and no refund hows about you guys piss off like really I understand Covid but telling a 10 year old that spent her own money to get what shes been saving up for for a while to do no all because of this covid crap you guys are a company that makes alot of money as if you cant afford to exchange a 10 dollar phone case I'm pissed right off.
Wal-Mart said they would exchange clothes when all stores opened now they say no wth. This policy refusing clothing returns may be well intentioned, but it has put customers in a very difficult position. So why is the wealthiest retailer on earth taking financial advantage of their customers of relatively modest to poor means? Why not offer a method of returning by mail where they can sanitize their product properly?
Oh, and all my in store purchases disappeared from my app, so cannot start a return if I wanted to. I love Walmart. By far a homely place where anyone can buy just about anything they'll ever need. And if it just happens to be that there is an error on the buyer's side or not; you may return it to get all your moneys back in your pocket: personally any return I make I've always went right back down their huge awesome aisles of wonder rather than just walk right out afterwards.
Sometimes, I get their a little late and they will let me take 5mins before telling me stores closed. I always pay for my stuff and have been happy to do so every single time. I even help put loose carts in the cart rack and pick up trash in the parking lot. A couple of times I've forgotten to pay for something super minor. Once home and realized; I felt sad. Walmart is incredible and honestly I wouldn't want it any other way. Thank you Walmart and please; never stop doing what you do best.
Making towns glow. I, too, was never informed that I couldn't return clothes I was buying, nor were there ANY signs stating that. I'm about ready to bring it all back and demand my money back. I purchased them 2 months ago!! Get with it Walmart. Well I've been waiting for at least 2 months to return a dress I bought only to be told they are not accepting clothing returns. Then associate points to a notice on back wall that states this and says there should be notices in all departments and to be patient , also the cashier should have mentioned this as I checked out.
Well, I keep checking and nothing has changed. Now the size I need is gone so can only hope to eventually get my money back. By the way, checked all over women's department and I did not see one sign to this effect. So what's up Wausau Walmart? Tried to take it back. The indian woman at returns desk-no no no no no?
Does NOT speak english???? She pointed at the return policy? So, why does she works at the desk?? And-I ask employees, can you tell me where i can find? I am so sick of shopping at walmart!!! OMG,after reading the rest of the recent comments, I am compelled to put my two cents in. Obviously, you people are selfish and could care less about the spread of this virus I certainly wouldn't want to know that the piece of clothing I bought, may have been at someone's house, that may have had or carried COVID Most stores are accepting returns for clothing but your store.
Were not allowed to use fitting rooms so we buy and have to take home to find it does not fit yet unable to return. You say it is due to covid 19 which I understand even though you will not get the virus from clothing. What is frustrating is your stores in CA now have banners saying face madks required by mandated state law yet you do not inforce this. I have been in 2 times now watching as people walk on in and your door counters sit there and say nothing letting them walk in.
What is the purposes of refusing returns yet NOT enforcing masks. What is the difference? You are at far more risk of getting the virus by unmasked shoppers then a return of clothing. All I know is I better get a FULL return even if 90 days goes by from purchase date and I deffinately will not buy any clothing at all going forward.
I would not be as upset over it if I 1 didnt have to worry about every penny I can not afford to waste and 2 if you actually enforced other measures. I guess you dont mind letting in unmasked people as its revenue so will look the other way but dont want to return stuff as you already got the money. Its very hypocritical. Instead of whining and complaining and calling Walmart ugly "names", I just want to commend Walmart for doing the right thing!!! To the poster thinking you are "entitled" to an"discount" for standing in line, to buy your groceries, why on earth do you think you should get a "discount", part of the "me" generation?
And the poster that's saying that you should get an "extension" because of "COVID", seems you were able to get your items with no problem, so why should you get some extra time to return? There are policies for reasons people, stop whining about this store or it's simple Thank you for the excellent customer service Walmart!
Im soooo tired if not being able to return the clothing I purchased over 2 months ago. I sm on a budget and need any extra money i can get. This is way too long to have to wait to return something. Target heads bren accepting returns what's Walmart's problem?
They could accept them let them sit for a couple of days. Bought my wife a pair of pajamas wrong size they would not allow her to exchange for a different size even though it was still on the hanger with tags absolutely ridiculous taking things way to far! Won't shop Wal-Mart anymore. You would think that in a Pandemic, Walmart would have a grace period for returning items. But no, Walmart continues to be a money hungry, don't give a crap about you, establishment.
Oh, and then i get to either wait in hour in line, or check my own groceries. No discount for having to do it myself, and don't even think about telling me it's a courtesy to check my groceries. That is bs too. Walmart just doesn't want to employ people to do it. Greedy Trumpers. You should be ashamed of yourselves Walton Family. What's next, stocking shelves, or will people have to unload the damn trucks too?
I'm another customer who's very disappointed with Walmart's action of not receiving back the clothes I purchased from their store. They did not allow me to try them on because fitting rooms were closed. And there was message written near the area or at the register nor did the person at the registry advised customers that due to Covid you were not able to return any clothing you purchased. I think this would have been a much better customer service.
Than trying to cheat people out of their money. Walmart needs to start taking returns in all states. Customers are very frustrated about your policy. I went to return clothing and the associate told me per the policy it's not allowed as clearly stated on her sign which was face down on the table. I bought some scrubs not knowing which size so I bought different types and sizes. In total I have 7 pair and come to find out when I tried to return the ones that didn't fit they won't take clothing back.
Shame on you Walmart. If I would have know this I never would have bought them. I agree with many of the posts here that Walmart is taking advantage of customers. I live in a small town with limited choices. My Walmart shopping days will now be very limited if at all if I can help it. There needs to be clear communication from all Walmart staff on these rules and there better be an extension in the return policy.
